Why I Use a Preservative & Emulsifiers
This formulation is primarily oil-based, which typically doesn’t require a preservative. However, as a consumer myself, I understand the reality of product use. Every time you dip your fingers into a jar, there’s a chance of contamination—especially if your hands are damp or if moisture accidentally gets into the product. Even though I personally take care to wash and dry my hands before use, I know that not everyone will do this every time!!!
To ensure safety, freshness, and longevity, I include a safe-to-use preservative to help prevent bacterial and fungal growth. This way, you can confidently enjoy your tallow cream without worrying about hidden contamination over time.
Additionally, I use non-toxic emulsifiers to create a luxuriously smooth, easy-to-apply texture that spreads evenly on the skin without feeling overly greasy. These ingredients help stabilize the formula while keeping it pure and effective.
💡 But don’t worry! I only use gentle, non-toxic, and paraben-free preservatives and emulsifiers that are skin-safe and effective. These ensure your skincare works properly without compromising on quality or natural benefits.
